I read timelines obsessively here haha Some people get their GC in even 3-4 months! But most new Yorkers timeline's say 8-11 months. Maybe it's busier in NY. What's your timeline so far?

Timeline

I sent my AOS paperwork in on the 22nd of January they received it on the 27th of January and I got my NOA1 on the 29th of January. Since then nothing. I've rang USCIS a few times and they say they haven't scheduled my appointment yet. :(

I hear you. But from Ive been reading on this whole website, a lot of people get their EAD/AP cards sometimes even before the biometrics!!! That really makes me think that it's not connected, that the BIO appt is for the actual green card. So that's good, you can kind of be sure that they are already working on your case! :)

Some people do walk-ins, but it looks like it doesn't matter, it doesn't affect the timeline anyway.

We're in New York. Filed in September, got EAD and AP recently but no news on AoS at all so far.

You won't.. it takes 6 months in NYC for the petition, and then an average of 8-10 months for the adjustment of status...

So anyone that filed in NYC for July will be adjudicated for their family petition in January 2017... and aos anytime in March-April

You filed in September, you will be adjudicated in March, and your aos according to the stats you can expect an interview by May-June
