I thought you were a numbers man. Don't you know about the myth of the average?

"*wa wa wa* sell their soul *wawawa* what?"

Get with the program already. Who's talking about any political figure? I'm talking about actual, average people.

Ask Chris Christie, he sold his soul

Super Tuesday (March 1) marked Chris Christie's first memorably embarrassing moment on the Trump campaign trail, when his terrified facial expression suggested a hostage video more than an endorsement. And it looks like things haven't gotten much better for the New Jersey governor.

During a campaign event in Ohio, Trump compared Kasich's "absentee" governor status to Christie's prolonged absences from his home state. "Your governor is absentee," Trump said. "He goes to New Hampshire, he's living in New Hampshire." Then he turned to Christie. "Where's Chris? Is Chris around? Even more than Chris Christie he was there, right? I hated to do it but I had to make my point," he said, smiling.

It's especially harsh since Christie is now out of the state for which he is the chief executive officer in order to support someone else's campaign. He even skipped the funeral of a New Jersey State Trooper who died in the line of duty to stump for Trump. This mockery is what he gets in return. Hopefully sticking it to Marco Rubio was worth it.

even after all these years, how you get from point a to point b still fascinates me.

i believe the points he was making are

reference the tattooed individual in the photo - per the linked article

a debate about Grace Tilly’s tattoos has started online. As you can see in the comments section posted with this story, Ms. Tilly argues that these tattoos are not representative of neo-Nazi positions but are connected to her family’s Celtic religious beliefs.

and her husband "typically considers himself a strong, pro-union Democrat (he helped elect President Obama in 2008)"

- ergo, there are former democratic party voters who jumped ship - and the tattoos are not what some think they are.....

I'm guessing she probably means HH with that, since the cross on her right hand holds a similar connotation.

But I no more consider her representative of Trump supporters in general than the black guy who told a white student in a debate to kill himself for being white as representative of Hillary supporters in general.

Good luck!

It shows a lack of discretion on the part of his team...

my sweet baby jesus - THANK YOU.

for me it isn't about it being representative of trump supporters its about realizing how excited white supremacists and extreme nationalists are for trump and asking yerself 'do i really want to be for the same guy they are?'.

Unfortunately, we can't always pick those we indirectly associate with. You might support a sports team. There may be guys who club baby seals for fun and kill babies who also support the same team. You'd rather these people are not supporting the same team, but you can't really control them. And you could switch teams, but the other team has some fans who like to drown kittens and commit arson.

Based on the abysmal membership numbers of white nationalist groups I'm confident in saying the huge bulk of Trump supporters do wish these groups would not stump for trump, even though the average group if it endorses anybody will pick trump.

I hope Trump can reinvent his platform in the next few months to move away from discontent over foreigners (and his discontent is with them, it's not racial per se) and focus more squarely on the economy.

Good luck!
