there isn't a second interview. The uscis sends the waiver approval to the embassy. The embassy contacts the applicant. They send a letter(email) requesting a new medical and police report and whatever else they need. You drop it off at the embassy. Then a few days later they issue the visa.

That may be consulate specific. Some consulates have required a 2nd interview following regular I-601 waiver approval because the immigrant was denied in the first interview. But the OP isn't doing a 601 because her husband is in the US.

HOPE 2016

My husbands I601a was denied on august 2014 for the same reason, we had an attorney who we trusted but did our packet very weak, he even had documents from a different case in the middle of our packet, we then got another attorney who by the time we found him our case got closed, he then reopened the case, my husband got interviewed in Cuidad Juarez in august 2015 and they told him he needed his waiver approved and then reschedule an appt, on sept 28th 2015 our case was received and is in the NEBRASKA CENTER, we are still waiting for that to get approved. Good luck, I hope this helps a little.
