Rubio got hammered tonight, I actually feel bad for him. He has suspended his campaign.

Trump won florida, kasich won ohio, trump has mild but likely insurmountable lead in NC with the turn in so far.

Trump leading missouri and illinois though very tiny percentages reporting so far.

Kasich needs to drop out also. He saved face by winning his own state, but he has no chance of being the nominee.

Good luck!

If he can assist in blocking Trump from the 50% mark, he should stay on. Gives him a chip for rational adulthood to have input into the convention

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

That isn't how Cruz sees it and without fact checking that math (I'm sure others have), I think Cruz is right; at this point a vote for Kasich is a vote for Trump. One on one Cruz fairs better against Trump, because a lot of Rubio/Kasich's support is people who would have supported Cruz (they've been polled).

Illinois is a good example. Currently Kasich is taking 20%+ of the vote there, and lots of that would have gone to Cruz. The establishment needs to immediately realize that their guys will never, ever be the nominee. It WILL be either Trump or Cruz. Which one is better? The party could get behind Cruz. He's outside their inner circle, but he doesn't embarrass them like Trump does, even if his policies and standards are probably less malleable.

Good luck!

couldn't you say a vote for Cruz is a vote for Trump? Cruz has no viable path for a first ballot majority either

Before tonight I think he was less than 100 votes behind. There's always still a slim chance in hell Trump will finally, against all odds, say something that actually scares people away. Maybe seize everybody's first born for medical testing or something. Hard to imagine anything that would take, though. But in such a scenario enough states remain Cruz could get his 1200.

Good luck!

He just basically assured that's not going to happen(Kasich that is).

Dude's delusional. Still thinks he will become the president.

At this point, the ONLY thing Trump can say to lose votes would be something along the line of taking away guns from the majority. Or start slinging insults at the majority. As long as he continues to attack minority groups, no one has the juice to stop him.

Trump is like that d-bag at the party who loves to trash talk folks. It's funny as long as his verbal jabs are pointed in the opposite direction. The dude you wouldn't want your daughter to bring home but she would because she thinks he's a rebel. Being an a-hole is quite alright, until you are on the receiving end of it. Then it becomes an issue.

I agree. If Kasich does not drop out….he assures that Ted has no chance to be the nominee. If he drops out…there would be a chance.

One-on-one, Cruz would be formidable against Trump. Cruz would win every one-on-one debate.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Cruz got 13% in Ohio .. Trump was around 40-45% everywhere except Ohio where he was 36%.. Almost all the votes Kasich took in Ohio was at the expense of Cruz, Trump only gave up about 4% - Sounds like a pretty weak candidate.

Actually they all feel like weak candidates! But then so are both the Democrats.

I don't know.. The more I think about it the more I don't want to think about it. Such crappy choices.

...or maybe they could not do 24/7 negative campaigning, calling his supporters stupid, and generally using language like you have here which people have become deaf to after years of it on every subject - and push him on his policies or lack thereof. It's hard to take seriously anyone upset about the tone when they call people they disagree with D'bags.

You call him a racist - I've never heard him say anything racist. He said things about Mexico and Mexicans (or rather the ones coming here) That's anti Mexican Government. He said some stupid things about Isam - but then Cruz - even today - blasted Trump for suggesting he would be neutral on Israel and the Palestinians.

We all know he is gruff and says stupid things and is Misogynistic. You can't hurt him by making fun of him or his supporters or making clever memes - that's sooo 2012.
