My Canadian fiancee and I got married in February and are gathering all the information we need to send to Immigration Services. He is in the US with me, currently. We were following what was posted here, but after some more in depth searching, I read that a lot of information online is not updated (such as info on this website) and a lot of things we thought we needed for our packet are not needed by Immigration Services anymore. We looked on the actual government website but it was confusing and now we are unsure about what we need. Does anyone have the correct, updated information on what is required in a packet to get a married Canadian citizen already in the country (married to a US citizen) a green card and work papers?

How did he enter the US? K1? Tourist? Work?

If he's already in the US, it sounds like you would file for an Adjustment of Status (AOS). You'll probably want to check out the Adjustment of Status forum.

USCIS will want to confirm that he didn't enter as a tourist with the intent to marry and stay as that could be immigration fraud.
