My fiancee and I had our interview on 26 Feb. After having to ask twice whether we were approved or not, we were told we were (the story of our interview is for another day).

Once our interview was complete, we got back home, checked the status online, and for some reason, there are 3 entries listed in the ceac visa status check page.

Now, during the waiting process, all of them went from "Ready" to "Administrative Processing" on or around 01 March.

Since then, and this is the confusing part...

On 11 March, the first of the three (also labeled in ceac as "01 MNL" went from "Administrative Processing" to "Issued"

The other 2 hadn't changed status at all since the initial time they went into "Administrative Processing", so we ignored them.

But now, as of 14 March, items "02 MNL" and "03 MNL" had their "Status Updated Date" changed to 14 March. The status for those 2 are still "Administrative Processing", but up until 14 March there was no movement on those other 2 entries.

To add to things, my fiancee received a call yesterday from the embassy where she was asked when we were planning to go to the US, and she was informed that the visa would expire on 26 August, and her medical would expire on 04 August. She was also told that her passport/visa would be sent out today (yesterday), but as of now, there's no status change on "01 MNL" since 11 March when it went to "Issued" status.

Furthermore, there's no record (yet I presume) when checking 2go using her passport number or case number.

So, needless to say, I'm a bit confused as to what's going on.

First and foremost, I have no idea why there are 3 entries when checking her case number on ceac. I initially assumed it was because when I first submitted the I-129F, I listed both of our children as needing visa' as well, but by the time we got the interview, we had already secured their CRBA, so those were no longer needed (which, by the way, really confused our interviewer); and since the status on both of those never updated before (aside going from Ready to AP), I figured it was a good assumption.

But now that the status of those 2 have been updated as of 14 March, and the status of "01 MNL" hasn't changed since 11 March, and there's no record of her documents being on their way with 2go, I'm a bit worried that something somewhere got really screwed.

If the consulate contacted her and stated her visa was being issued and sent out to her, then she should be receiving it soon, regardless of what the online status shows. Online status updates are not done instantaneously, and sometimes never at all.

Hi! The 2 other case numbers are for the kids (K2), your fiance is the 01 MNL. Since they were in your I-129 F that is automatic that case numbers will be given to them. Never mind the 2 case numbers since your kids already have CRBS/ US Passports. Your assumptions are correct.

As for the passports of your fiance, it will be delivered 2-3 from date it tuned "issued on CEAC. If they called her yesterday, you will most probably get it on Thursday. Check again tomorrow using her passport no.

Thanks for the input KayDeeCee and cristina16, helps to qualm my worries... And to be honest, we've been worried since the interview considering we had to ask twice if we were approved (unlike many others who were told by other interviewers "You're Approved, Congratulations" whereas ours was just like "Proceed to Step 5"; so it's all been very bittersweet up until now, and every little thing causes us to worry now... and I don't think either my fiancee or I are going to be truly happy until we get her passport back with the visa in it.

At any rate, thanks for the input and confirming my assumptions. We'll wait and hope that her passport comes in soon.

Most interviews have at least a bit of paperwork after the conversation is finished. So the CO can say it looks good, or approved contingent on completion of their processing. They only want to say yes when they are absolutely sure there is nothing else to be considered. As you witnessed it's a busy place. The officers need to collect their thoughts and complete the file.

Be patient. If the passport was collected, that shows the intention to issue the visa.
