Hello i need help.we married here in usa using k1 visa. We file i864 but sems little confused. We dont have any Kids. What should i put in question 28 parte 3 ? If i put 1. It Will be automatic 1 in parte 5 question 1. And 2 in parte 5 is 1. And in question 3 i put 1 that mean we are married. The total householde size Will be 3.

Any clariffication. Thanks you

yes on part 3 you put 1, you transfer the 1 on part 5, plus yourself, that adds 2

you don't count him twice, you aren't supposed to check or add a 1 to spouse as he is the beneficiary

So you don't put "1" in the spouse section if the beneficiary is your spouse?

It states not to count anyone twice. And you would not count the person that is being sponsored under, "Persons NOT sponsored under this Affidavit". They are the principal immigrant being sponsored, and are only counted as that in #1.

Thank you guys.

The mistake is that we cannot count any member of the household twice. If You are the sponsored immigrant, the question #3 does not apply to your case at all, this is only for sponsors that are married (in which the spouse is NOT the person being sponsored) So enter 1 in question #1; 1 in question #2; 0 in questions #3 to #7 and it will add up to 2 in household size. :)
