If you are traveling within the USA then you don't need a passport. You just need your drivers license or your green card.

Hi, I haven’t gotten a green card and license yet since I’m not here that long.. so the problem is my passport/visa is surrendered to the embassy. My only chance is my renewed passport so I could travel, the thing is.. I don’t have any clue when will that arrive, the phone numbers given on the site are not even useful since they never pick up calls.

If you have no valid form of ID then you can not travel through a airline period. You would need to have some type of photo identification.

Yea, I know that for a fact. That’s why I’m asking here on how to track the passports. Thanks

What type of RETURN envelope did you give the consulate, to mail the passport to you later, when you applied for the new passport?   If you gave them a priority mailing/FedEx/UPS envelope then you have that tracking.  There is no tracking otherwise.

Hi thanks for the reply Hank_, I called the hotline yesterday and luckily someone answered, was surprised cause it’s not usual, she said my passport is already available (Thank God) and it is ready for pick up. Thanks for all the replies, Guys! My problem is solved. You have a great day!

Ready for pickup, you must live close to the consulate .. one of the rare ones.
