Montreal wait time for k-1 visa interview 2016

I would like to know what is the wait time for the interviews for the k-1 visa right now? Someone booked their interview recently?

when i booked mine it was about a 2 month wait until the first open date.. however the whole month of wednesdays were open, so it could have been closer to 3 months if i had waited and missed the earlier open spots !

We booked a K1 interview at Montreal on February 9th, and the first available date was March 9th.

I made an appointment on March 10th and the earliest I can book was on April 6th.

(All Wednesday from April to May were available)

I live in Reston (just moved up here from Orlando) and my fiancé will be moving down from Toronto.

There's a DC area Expat Canadian group on meetup.com. We're hoping to attend some of their events once my fiance moves to help ease the transition from Canada and have him meet some fellow Canadians.

Good to know about the group! My fiancee is from Toronto too.

She is not planning to come down here until late summer but we will definitely check that group as well!!
