Hello Guys,

I'm currently sorting the papers for my I-130 and I-485, however i have a question regarding AOS, i'm in a double job right now and my annual income is $35,000 a year without tax. i live with my parents. i'm wondering if there's going to be a problem if i only use my income, not my household income, or no need for co-sponsors. Thanks for the help.

Who is adjusting status? What are they adjusting from? Are you claimed as a dependent?

Yes your income should be more than enough as long as you're not claimed as a dependent on your parent's tax return.

Thanks for the reply, do you know how long does I-130 and I-485 takes?

The AOS process can take 4-12+ months. Generally after 3 months (90 days) the beneficiary should get their EAD and AP card so they can travel outside the USA and work within.
