Hi All,

I have a quick question and would appreciate any feedback on this matter. My ex husband was already in the states when I married him. I filled for him and he was approved for a green card and now able to apply for citizenship but unfortunately we're divorce. The question I have is I'm filing the K-1 Visa for my fiancé and question #14 which reads "Have you ever filed for this or any other alien fiancé or husband/wife before?" Should my answer be yes to this question since my ex husband was already in the states when we married and when I filed for him? Any response to this question would be greatly appreciated.

Please someone respond to this as I need an answer ASAP.

Hi,

Thank you for your quick response. My ex husband and I no longer speak so on #14 states if I said yes to provide the alien registration number (A-number). How would I be able to obtain this if him and I no longer speak? I would appreciate any response at this time.

If he can't or won't provide it...especially if you don't speak you can write unknown.
