Hi guys,

So I finally got my mail from USCIS (yay), but I noticed that they issued me a new A number?

When I was filling my application, I was told that my A number was the same USCIS # that was on my Employment Authorization card, and that it never changed.

What is this new USCIS A # on the top right corner of the I-797?

And side note: I was getting super antsy because my husband (the USC) got his text/email that USCIS had accepted the package, but I wasn't getting it, even though I also filled and sent in a separate G-1145 E-notification form. But we both got the I-797 in the mail on the same day -- just a note for anyone whose spouse didn't get their notification. :)

Thanks guys
