Money order or personal check, which is better?

Please give me your opinion which is the best choice to send for the application fee, personal check or money order. Thanks in advance for the assistance...☺

You can use both. I have seen some people who couldn't track if the money order was cashed.

Postal money order can not be tracked for 6 months

check can be

if your bank issues money orders of its own as mine does, this is the best way to go

as they can cash it faster than personal check and it can be tracked by your bank

my bank offers them free to members / if you have never checked into this, it is worth a visit to the bank

Personal preference, with K-1 I used money order and with AOS I used a personal check and both times I was able to track them when they were cashed.

I personally have always used personal checks.

It is easy for me to know whether the check has been cashed or not.

I say personal check. I always like being able to see when it is cashed as just one more timeline indicator of the process to go by.

Kris&me, USPS money order can be tracked. I did it daily by calling 1-866-459-7822. This was how I found out that my applications and petition was accepted as I did not receive text messages or emails (even though I had sent in three G1145s).
