Thk you but my embassy not yet received just status updated date ?

If you have only just received your case number from the NVC then you will need to wait approximately 5 days (sometimes more) before it arrives at your embassy, there you will be able to use your case number to track your case.

I will not look back on this journey with fond memories, but I will look back knowing that every step was worth it, whatever the outcome.

Good luck to both of you !!


I was ckecking our status as soon as NVC recieved it, and then next day it was in transit and in two more days we had ready ( package arrived to the consulate and is ready for interview) so it was possible to check every step

If you have only just received your case number from the NVC then you will need to wait approximately 5 days (sometimes more) before it arrives at your embassy, there you will be able to use your case number to track your case.

I'm not used to this tracker, so forgive me.

I was of the impression we'd just see date updates. And that's how we can tell when the embassy receives etc.

What is the most recent update date? 26th? Or later?

I could be wrong, it could be as it leaves the NVC but I did read that it was when it was received at the embassy. You read so much information and a lot of it is conflicting. As soon as I get my case number I'll be checking anyway regardless!

I will not look back on this journey with fond memories, but I will look back knowing that every step was worth it, whatever the outcome.

I believe; it only says Ready when it has been received by the Embassy, and is ready for your next steps.

I can't think of another time it would say that.
