It has been 8 months now since I attended visa interview at US embassy Accra Ghana and since been in administrative process. The case is with USCIS now for about 4 months now. Do any body knows when this night mare ends

This sounds as if your petition was revalidated. From what I have seen in these cases, you will typically be called for an interview again. As to how long it could take before your visa will be issued

Sure we involved them fro the beginning and they are saying we have to wait for six month before we can here from USCIS. Some says it sometimes go beyound the 6 months period. It remains in Ghana for 4 months before they sent it back.

Have you looked at Bullets about F-2A Visa to seen when your Priority Date is up ?

Belive there is only X amount of visa´s in the category.

Sorry my case is IR1 and the case just return from USCIS to the embassy

This sounds as if your petition was revalidated. From what I have seen in these cases, you will typically be called for an interview again. As to how long it could take before your visa will be issued, that is a complete guess.

The sub forum.

It can take 4-8 months for some and 12 months for others, there is no time table for it. You may get a NOID/NOIR letter from USCIS or they

send it back to the embassy without one. Send a request through your senator/congressman.

Consulate Received : July 30,2014 Transfer to right embassy complete.

Interview Date : Oct 22, 2014

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

Oct 23 email notification visa approved.
Visa Received : Nov. 3 , 2014 VISA IN HAND.

Renewal EAD in production notification text and online, expedite successful 4 days after RFE request response was faxed, Aug25mailed,Aug29received.

Sept. 21 Interview, 2 hour interview, we were separated and asked about 50 questions each for an hour each. IO was firm but professional, some smiles.
Several service requests made, contacted Senator and Ombudsman. Background checks still pending.
July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

My husband interview was 10/17/2014. Our case was returned 12/24/2014. USCIS received our case 2/15/2015. Yesterday we received notice from USCIS they sent us a notice of intent to revoke 3/11/2016. It took 13 months to hear back. I hear they are so backlogged. Good luck.

So they sent your petition back now you wait nothing you can do to spend it up. Once USCIS reviews your case you will get NOIR/NOID. The embassy will be requesting that your petition be Denied or Revoked.

NOIR- Notice of Intent to Revoke

NOID- Notice of Intent to Deny

  1. straight away reaffirmed or
  2. you will be sent a letter that the CO wrote up of their findings and issues they had with you case.
  3. You would than have to address each denial /issue point with evidence then send in by the deadline.
  4. USCIS reviews what you sent if they accept they will reaffirm you if not they will deny.
  5. If reaffirmed you are sent back to embassy for 2nd interview.

It's been taking 12 to 16 months for people getting word from USCIS.
