Hi, I was just bothered with my greencard my name is lacking letters. I have 3 first names and there are 19 letters all in all and 23 including the spaces. Say for example my name is abcdefg abcde abcdefg, in my gc it says abcdefg abcde abcd, so it's lacking 3 letters.I would understand if it won't fit in their system, but I am actually planning to travel next year in philippines and mostly the immigration people their might give me hard time about it. My philippine passport has my full name, but my greencard is lacking some letters. What do I need to do? Do I need to ammend my passport to match it with my greencard whenever I renew it? Your responses will be much appreciated.

My give name field was missing some last letters too, no problem at all when I travelled back and forth from Vietnam and Europe.

Did your 2 year green card have all the letters?

My 2 yr card had my middle name fully but my 10 year only has an initial.

You could contact CBP and find out of you need to get the green card corrected, If possible, because they are the only ones who should need to see your green card for reentry purposes.

My 2 year greencard is the one that has missing letters on it. My first name consists of 19 letters, 22 with spaces on it. I was wondering maybe because it won't in their system why it happened, do you think I will have a problem when traveling outside US?

*did not fit in their system
