Got a letter from congresswoman

Hi all,

I got a letter from my congresswoman...she had made an inquiry on our behave to NVC.... Basically, they told her the same thing they told my lawyer. Have to wait for clearances from Washington agencies :huh: . In two weeks it be 1 year since I petitioned and almost 11 months of it the case has been at NVC. I'm so upset. I've been crying since yesterday. I feel so hopeless. :crying:

I got the FBI's email address, do you think it would be a good idea to email them? Does anyone has any suggestions as how I can find out if he has cleared any checks?

3/24/11 Received 10 year Green Card in the mail - Done. Feels good :-) 'till we do this again for US Citizenship.

12/5/11 mailed packet for Naturalization

12/9/11 was received by USCIS.

4/6/12 received letter for fingerprint appn.

4/23/12 9am fingerprint appointment - done :-)

4/30/12 Recieved Letter for Interview - Sche. 5/31

5/31/12 Interview & Testing

5/31/12 Testing Approved - Waiting for next step

6/21/12 Rcvd email, placed application in the oath sched. que :-)

6/25/12 Rcvd letter - Oath Ceremony is on 7/11/12 @ 9:15am :-)

i am sorry for all your wait..that is so wrong..i do not know if an e-mail to the FBI would help..or course, it would not hurt

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Sorry to read your post. I hate to say it but nothing much you can do but wait out this horrible mess. I think someone emailed them and it was like couple of weeks before they heard back from them. It sure could not hurt if it will give you some peace of mind. Thoughts and prayers for strength headed your way.

This is crazy. I wonder how the heck they decide that a check needs to be done. Besides that, I thought it was required to be completed within 120 days. I am sorry you have to endure this.
