I think you too, are again, missing the point. Never said I don't acknowledge it exists towards black people. Nor did I ever disrespect or diminish their own experiences.

The whole issue here - and it seems I'm not the only one to have an issue with as others have made similar comments - when people hijack an issue that affects so many around the world and try and make it their own, then turn 90% of their posts into nothing but a rant about that issue(as if there's never anything else to talk about) - we're allowed to feel a little annoyed. Why didn't I comment on that quote in the signature? I must be racist. Only reason people could conceivably not like Obama? They are racists. Only reason anyone would vote for Trump? You guessed right.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying they have to change for us - I'm a huge believer in free speech. At the same time that also means we have a right to express our annoyance with it.

i guess i do miss your point. i'm disagreeing with you on your 'hijack an issue' comment in particular. like i said, the absolute majority of the time racism (drink) is brought up in these threads, on a personal level (to coincide with the "hijacking") it occurs in direct response to a poster blatantly disrespecting another straight off the tip. if you are so annoyed with a poster that you don't want to read and consider each of their comments as individual opinions (not carrying 'baggage' over from other threads) you should probably block them all together. you're right in that there's a lot of repetitive bs in these threads, that's a fact. but the argument is never going to evolve as long as basic elements of respect (which includes listening) are never met.

i agree you have the right to express your annoyance, i just honestly don't understand why you're annoyed in the first place.
