Started K1 Visa Process - Possibly Stopping

My fiancee and I have started the K1 Visa process, I just finished submitting the DS-160 form and our next step is for me to setup a visa/medical interview.

We've recently discussed moving/living abroad (neither of ours home country) for 1-2 years.

My question is would cancelling or stopping the K1 visa process now look bad if we intend to try and file for it again in 1-2 years when we're done living abroad?

Thanks

Make sure you cancel the K1 visa properly.

Write to the consulate that you no longer wish to proceed with the visa process.

You should have no problem refiling again when you are ready to migrate.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Also send the withdrawal letter to the USCSI service center that adjucated your case.
