Please, brazilian people who made that already, give me some help!

1) Did you guys translated the stamp from the notary when you gave certified copies?

2) Did you used exactly the same documents for the interview?

TIA

hi blondedoc,

So your police certificates do not need to be translated to English. The consulate in Rio will accept them in Portuguese.

Also, you should be able to scan all the documents and email them to the NVC. That's what we did and worked fairly well, they did lose one of the attachments, which was a police certificate from Minas, but the NVC completed the case and just told us to bring the official document to the interview. No problem, no delays.

ok, good luck!
