I kinda agree with consolemaster, but not really.

I usually don't cry, because I was raised to feel ashamed to do so. That's about where the likeness ends, as I would never try to convince others to bottle their emotion as I do. Nor would I make others who are more capable of expressing emotion through tears feel as though it's wrong.

Oh my God!!! I know what you mean! My fiance always tells to our friends: we need to do so many things before marriage. For me to go through all this training before you become a austronaut is easier than all this paperwork!!!

I cry almost everyday as we already know that all this will take minimum 7 moths before i will get in US. My finace will send all papeerwork tommorow (Yeah!), but it took 2 months to collect everything! and we already know that if we submit 20 March 07 I will get Fiancee visa about September 07 :-(

This visa process isn't worth crying over. I had all honors in high school, and honors in the College of Engineering at the University with a double major in two related disciplines, Electrical and Computer. If this stuff is worth crying, then I would probably die at the college.

Well it's kinda easy for someone who files at Vermont to say, that the process isn't worth crying.

But if you spend months apart and you think it's finally your turn to get approved and THEN you receive a RFE or something else that causes a delay....then it 's kinda HARD to not cry.....unless, you kinda don't give a damn!

But if you feel the same for your fiance as everyone else here should feel for their partners, then you can't go through this without concerns and rough times....not saying that you have to cry...but it's an emotional hardcore situation, when your future isn't in your hand anymore, but in the hands of the government!!!

Definitely a feeling that I don't like AT ALL!!!! <_<

Diana

I completely agree with this. We aren't as far along in this process, but considering where we are filing, it's a much longer wait, and I am having a great deal of stress over preparing docs in advance for the interview, stupid I-134...we all have stress, and are missing our fiance(e)s...but when you see that people who get to file at Vermont (no offense) get through this process so much faster, and even worry when their NOA2 takes a little longer...it just makes it that much harder. I haven't cried yet. But I get frustrated when I think of all the things that could hold up the process (ie RFE) I could cry...I definitly also HATE the feeling of putting my future in the hands of the government. That said, hang in their everyone!

I agree! Tommorrow we will send all visa paperwork to Texas Service Center. I am so exited! I looked the processing times page and you can see how Vermount is so quick! I think it is not right, but what can we do? We looked Texas Service Center chart and understood that we actually made right decision - we just decided to anounce our wedding date as 15 December 2007. As we know that Applying in March via Texas Center I will get Fiancee visa only in September.

We are together 3 years, but we still to prove putting so many private things as copies of our E-mails.

But let's see how long we will have all this Fiancee visa journey :hehe:

I'm going to save my tears for the possible AR/AP and (possible) waiver. Lord knows I have shed so many in the past that one could take a bath in them. Waiting for the NOA-2 or even getting an RFE does'nt move me much considering the obstacles we will face later on down the road. I'm sorry , but I'm bitting the bullet here. But to y'all who are stressing , my prayers are with you. Playing the waiting game is by no means easy. God be with us . (F)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I am also planning to get some Barbados information into the Embassy topic since no one has reviewed it as of yet.

Out of the blue...

There are a couple of really good Barbados reviews in the DCF Forum here.. use the forum-only search at the bottom of the front forum page. :)

Crying? Oh geez... been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, washed it so many times it fell apart. I shed a lot of tears. This is hard on the emotions. Be gentle to yourself, care for your own emotional health as much as possible so you can be bright and shiny as a new penny when your lovely arrives. Just know you're not alone. If you need someone to vent to, feel free to message me.

We all know the frustrations you are feeling, and empathize with you. I try to cry in the bathtub, but once at work I had to go into the ladies room and have a good cry. Crying release toxins in your body, I read that somewhere. Hang on each day you are one step closer to the end.

i haven't felt like crying (yet) over this visa process. but i have had some sleepless nights (both due to gathering paperwork/researching and stressing over the hope that everything will be done right). i sometimes cry when i'm lonely, and longing for my SO.

funny thing is, i used to ALWAYS cry the day i had to leave him and return to the states, until after we got engaged. now i just squeeze him tight and leave happy. lol

I believe this is a process that can leave you in tears and on a roller coaster ride.

Got NOA1.....cool.

Got NOA2 ....yaaayyyy.

Got through NVC .....finally.

Got appointment for interview.......excitement, surely it will all be over soon.

Interview.......no visa granted and on AP......the deep black abyss......despair ! :crying:

I have not seen my fiance in almost a year and we are in AP since December.

Yes, I cry and just today had a major hissy fit and meltdown.

Be strong ? Yes, tomorrow I will be strong as for today just let me cry !

It is easy to say it's not worth crying over so early in the process but when you

have gone through what some of us have gone through you will understand.

May ALL have a smooth and speedy journey ....with or without tears.

I haven't cried maybe got a little mad but knew the process was going to take time. We have been apart for almost a decade so I am so use to it. Wondering what life will be like in a few months. We went the CR-1 route so I could plan our dream wedding. Having in Jamaica with his family and friends was the best. It can be stressing hang in there the time feels like it is flying by. Keep yourself busy until he gets here.
