Hi all, wondering if anyone else has has experience with rescheduling their interview time for IR-1 at London (recently). Al I can seem to find are posts from several years ago and we all know how procedures change! Long story short, I work away at sea and won't be able to make my scheduled date as I'm on a ship! I requested a new date as soon as the embassy received my papers, it's now been a week with no word, and the scheduled interview is less than 4 weeks away! Getting nervous :/

Did you contact the embassy with the contact form as i did and have had replies within 24hours. Normally get a reply around 10am uk time each day I've replied to a email from them.

Yes, I contacted through the online form on Friday, no word yet! Do you have a link to the form you used? Maybe I'm doing something wrong! Last time I contacted them, they replied in 4 days, but at that point they hadn't recieved my package and said to contact them again once they had... So they day they recieved it, I wrote!

I reply to this email address

LondonInfoUnit@state.gov

And I put my case number in the subject

Thanks! I've contacted them directly at this email address! fingers crossed for a quick reply - and yes I was using the same online form as you - its a shame theres no auto reply at least to let you know that your message was recieved and that its a queue for a reply eh?

So I got an instant autoreply from that email address that they only reply to online form queries... :/ I'll give it til tomorrow and resubmit via the form I guess!

Oh ok that's strange. Have you called them

Yep, called the switchboard and the non immigrant number today, both told me the only point of contact for immigrant visas is the online form, and to wait for a reply... Problem being my interview (as scheduled) is in 3.5 weeks

They will get back to you If you used the form. Did your contact form email tell them a date you would be available so they have a clue when to set the new appointment?
