My family's visa category is F4. My mom is the Principal Applicant and I am a derivative of the said petition and I have a 4 year old son. My son was denied by the Consul at the US Embassy at the Philippines the fact that NVC approved that he can come with us here in the States and now my son was left in the Philippines. What should I do about this case?

First of all, NVC does not approve visas, they provide centralized logistic support to all US posts.

The final decision is made by the CBP officer at POE, even if the visa was approved at a post by a CO.

I can not give you an opinion on your case because you are not providing detailed information. Something must be missing, paper work or proof of blood relation.

I am sorry, it is a sad situation.

Well you shouldn't have left your son, always wonder how people can leave their kids behind.

I'm sorry they didn't approve him, did they give you a reason why he was denied?? Guess I got my answer on that one with the post after mine.

The NVC does not approve anything. You are mistaken that your son was approved for anything by the NVC.

A grandchild can not be a derivative beneficiary. You can be a derivative beneficiary, but not your child.

The US Embassy is correct.

Come to the US with your immigrant visa. Get your green card. Establish ties to the US with a bank account, state ID, and file US tax returns. Petition for your child. Get a 2 years Re-Entry Permit. Go back home to care for your child. Return to the US within the 2 years of your Re-Entry Permit. Get another Re-Entry Permit if you need to. When your child gets an immigration visa, return to the US with the child.

How about offering a solution instead of being mean?

Your post is worthless and hurtful.

Not really I have the right to be amazed what people are willing to do.

And I did ask why he was denied. but you just answered that one with your post.

There is sufficient detail to offer a solution to the OP.

Every paperwork is complete. He was denied by the Consul at PI but the NVC told us that he was considered in our petition.

You are wrong about this. The NVC can not offer you legal advice. You should have consulted a lawyer to understand your situation.

There is a solution. I have outlined it for you.

Coming from Denmark, you have no idea what life is like for people in less fortunate countries.

My cousin's kids live in horrible conditions. There are plenty of reasons to want to come to the US to improve the quality of life for those children. Sometimes, temporary separations can not be avoided. These children are NOT ABANDONED. They are left temporarily in the care of loving family members.

You have your opinion and I have mine I will not discuss this with you here.

I am a greencard holder. Is my son eligible for following to join benefits? If yes, how long would be the waiting time? If not, what visa category will apply for him so that I can petition him? Thanks for the reply!
