Kim Jong Un has claimed that North Korea has developed miniaturized atomic bombs, and offered 'proof' in the shape of photos of himself posing next to a purported mock-up of the warhead.

The photos show the North Korean leader standing beside what appears to be a model warhead part: a small, silverish globe with a ballistic missile or a model ballistic missile in the background.

Kim's comments today were his first direct mention of the claim to have successfully miniaturised a nuclear warhead, which has been widely questioned and never independently verified.

Even if Kim has a weaponized warhead he has no way of projecting it a meaningful distance, bombers, subs, icbm are all out. He suffers his family's pain at having girl's names.
