Hi everyone.

I am trying to file all of the forms, but I actually have some questions.
I crossed the Canadian border and the officer put a I-94 on my passport, but technically I'm here with the ESTA, right?!
When the forms ask me for a Alien number or a File number, what am I supposed to write?

My visa is gonna expire on 03/24/2016, what happens if I send all the forms after that date? can I get in trouble for that?

You posted before that you are from Italy so I am assuming you are an Italian citizen, not a Canadian citizen, right? If you didn't enter on a US visa, then you are here on the Visa Waiver Program. You may or may not have needed an ESTA to enter (e.g. you don't need ESTA if entering by land), but that's not really important. You are here on VWP.

You don't have an A number if you haven't applied for US immigration previously. Just put "none".

You can send the forms after your status expires; it won't affect the Adjustment of Status application.
