It was okay...I was handed a white slip becuz they want tax return from my step mom...the CO said the sooner I send them the tax return the sooner I get the visa

Good news is that you were approved! Something to be happy about. They are right sooner you get the documents to them, the sooner you get your visa. You are almost there.

I got an email the 27th of september from NVC that they received all documents required for the case and I am now in the queue for an interview. But my PD is not yet current (March 30,2004, F4). So I guess I have to wait about 3-4 more months before I get an interview,?

Well not so good news ?. My husband went for the interview and he texted me back and said that we needed another cosponsor. Because my son I 864a wasnt enough to sponsor. But his paperwork goes along with mine. We have a actual Co sponsor that works 3 jobs and make more than me. I asked did he give the AOS documents to him and he said the guy wouldn't take them. They also want my wedding pics which is fine cause I have some. So now I emailed the embassy to see exactly what it is that they need or what.

Sorry to hear. A little confusing. Your son is the cosponsor? But his income isn't enough?

The good thing is that he was not denied just delayed. Why did your son fill out the I-864a as a co-sponsor? He should have filled out an I-864. The I-864a is only if the sponsor filed taxes jointly with a spouse.

Same here I am over income, but they said we need a joint sponsor and the nvc requested I bring n a corrected I-864 with the checklist to the interview, but they didn't take it. JA Embassy is not doing right at all and by chance was the interviewer a Chinese man?

If they live together he could be required to fill the 1864a because they would be household members
