Send it where in what packet? The needed information that was completed for the medical exam will be in the packet for the embassy. If you are talking about the DS3025, that is your copy to bring to USA with you. You may need it down the line later.

I may have misunderstood then. I copied this from the guide. So it's only if people haven't gotten them all at their first medical?

I-693, Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status.I-693, Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status. If you are a K-1, K-2, K-3 or K-4 visa holder the I-693 instructions state that you are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485 is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination. If you are missing any shots from your overseas medical a I-693 vaccination transcription is required to be completed by seeing a Civil Surgeon to have certain portions of the I-693 completed and have the Civil Surgeon certify the form (sealing the original in an envelope and giving you a copy).

Do you see the title ...Seeking Adjustment of status? Yes like I said you will need that form later when you AOS....not at the interview. Keep it safe, bring it with you to USA. It proves you had all your vaccinations so they do not require you to get them again upon your arrival and application for AOS. Everything the embassy needs to issue your visa, regarding your medical exam, is provided to them by the medical exam facility.

Okay then I guess I misunderstood his question because I was sure he was talking about the AOS and I was sure it was needed for that. My bad :)

No problem!. You do need it for AOS, but according to the timeline they are still in the K1 process. You don't put it in any packet to send anywhere. You keep it with you for your records, just like an original birth certificate.... all documents you will need here in the USA. The medical packet for the embassy has what they need. The packet for your POE is for government records, it will contain what they need and you will not get any of it back.

Good Luck!

You will have to include a copy of your DS-3025 with your AOS if you have recieved and are up to date on your shots. Here is the pinned topic, http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/551080-immunizations-ds-3025-or-i-693/

, you will need to seek a civil surgeon if vaccinations are not complete. The civil surgeon will update any vaccinations on the I-693 that is mailed with your AOS.

The OP clearly stated they are filing for adjustment of status in the first post. They already did the medical, had the interview, are in the US and married.

Yes, send a copy of your DS-3025 with your AOS submission.

~ Moved from K-1 Process to AOS from Family Based Visas - topic is AOS, not K-1 ~
