At my interview last June, the CO said we needed a joint sponsor. He said we had one year from that day to complete the 'worksheet.' The 2 things I needed were a joint sponsor (even though my wife met the minimum), and an I60 waiver. I applied for my I601 waiver and currently awaiting a decision. We are told we will be given a list of documents to be updated, but not until the I601 is approved. I'm assuming the I864 will be in there. My question is, since my wife made a significant amount more in the 2015 year than she did in 2014, (32K), will they still ask for a joint sponsor? Or is this something that is set in stone no matter what? We are considered a household of 2 since there are no kids involved. Any help would be appreciated!
