my n-400 interview was rescheduled from 2/01/2016 because they didn't have my file in hand so I was told that I will receive another appointment within two weeks, but it didn't happen so I scheduled an info pass appointment two weeks ago and they said I should receive my appointment soon, by the way the processing time at my field is five months, so on the 25th of this month it's gonna be over five months since I sent in my package.

why is it taking them so long to reschedule my interview?

did any of you guys experience this? and what do you guys think I should do? this sucks since I can't even travel because I don't want to miss the interview.

Thank you guys!

Don't trust processing time on uscis website. Nothing you can do until they have your file on hand. Good luck.
