Yay!! Thanks guys!! I'm now at the Nvc. This nvc seem's so complicated to me. My husband got the Letter the other day. This is my question I waiting on my passport to come back, so in the mean time I want to the items together. I have Id number and all so should I start the process or should I wait for my passport and police record first?

Note: I'm in another country so the police record from my home country is gonna take 2 weeks and my passport is one month.

Another question. Where do I send everything. I know I should send only copies but where should I send? my husband showed me the letters and it didn't say anything

Get your police reports now. The first link in my signature tells u how to do NVC process. I followed it to the tee, my scan date was Feb 3rd and i got my case complete today.

You need that passport for iv packet and ds260 but you can get case numbers , pay fees, pick agent do ds260 then mail packets

I havent started anything as yet as I want to wait for my passport to come back. I have filled out the forms and such that I needed. My husband and sponsor are getting everything .

If I get the tax transcript do I need to get the w2 and the other tax items. Or is just the tax transcript for the 3 yeas enough

NVC goes like this:

This can be done before you get papers, And the faster you can finish this the faster NVC will be done for you

-get case number and IIN, give email addresses over

-complete the online DS-261

-pay the AOS bill, once it's invoiced

-pay the IV bill, once it's invoiced

-complete the online DS-260

This is the next steps and here you will need all the papers etc.

But you can start now to get all the papers etc. ready.

-submit both packages together

-respond to any checklists, if applicable

-get case complete

-get interview date scheduled

-case is sent to embassy/consulate

My passport is in Jamaica. I had to get a renewal they waits it's gonna take up to 4 weeks. So should I start while I'm waiting

I can see it, but i think you can hide it in settings and if you remove them
