I-485 approved already, EAD & AP still outstanding?

Hi!

We applied for the AP, EAD, and I-485 back in December after getting married on a K1 visa. On March 1st, I checked the status for the 3 receipts on the USCIS website and it said that the 485 was approved, but that the AP and EAD were still showing as "we received your case". I was pretty surprised about this since we didn't have to just mp through any more hoops and another interview. I received the Permament Resident card in the mail yesterday.

The question is about the AP & EAD. Does the card I received allow me to both work and travel? Or do I still need to wait for those other 2 items to be processed?

Your physical green card supersedes the EAD/AP Combo card, you can work and travel right away.

They will outright deny the I-751 and I-131 on the basis that you are a permanent resident now.

You no longer need the EAD/AP (they're used for the interim until you receive your GC). Since you've already got the GC, no need for the EAD/AP.

GC is the only thing you need in order to both work and travel.
