Hello everyone. I am gathering documents to send my AOS documents and I have a joint sponsor. The issue I am having is when i make a copy of my joint sponsor's birth certificate, I get void all over the copies and I am not sure if that would be accepted by NVC. Please help! Thanks so much for the advice.

You can include a copy of the joint sponsor's US passport instead.

Why do you get void on all the copies?

I am not sure why I get the void on it I think it may be because of copyright. My joint sponsor does not have a passport so I am not sure what else i can include.

That is fine. The certificates are designed to have patterns that will show up as "VOID" when photocopied as a security feature. They will accept it because this is normal for a photocopy.

Hello everyone

My question Is :

my husband will be the sponsor and he's a salary employed he's gross pay without deductions is 2000$ per month (1000$ per 2weeks).

I'd like to know which "income" is reffered to in the "I-864 Affidavit of Support" form.

Gross pay (without all deductions)

or

Net pay (after all expenses deducted)?

Hes gross pay meets the requirement easily but the net pay is not even close. Thanks!
