Well my husband always had to redo security and sometimes customs in Hawaii. I wouldnt say its always pain free. He always flew continental aka united the entire flight as well.

Customs, yes, because Guam is not within US customs. But not immigration.

And I agree, it's definitely not pain-free!

oh good to know. thanks for much for the help. that means i can marry her here in mainland and apply for AOS right? hmm btw what areas in the US that has immigration check? or is it just customs?

Every US airport that has an international flight will have immigration. However the Hawaii to mainland flight is domestic. Domestic flight arrivals do not go through immigration. So she can fly into either airport, it doesn't matter.

They might take a look. But her visa is not expired, right? So she has nothing to worry about.

Hi SWAGGG25,

How's it going? Just my opinion based on my observation(s), you want to make a big deal out of a small process. I say a "small process" based on the lengthy process(es) for most USA petitions....

Your gal is in a USA territory, for your purpose(s) she is in the USA. So, once you guys get married in Guam there is the AOS, adjustment of status petition/fees and so on... I do hope everything works out for you guys.
