H2B does not hve geographical restrictions, temp work visa.

Hello,

i've read this articles in visapro not sure if it's legit.

What privileges do I enjoy on H2B visas?

On H-2B visas you may:

  • Enter the U.S. for a temporary work and enjoy all employee benefits
  • Get your dependents to stay with you in the U.S.
  • Travel freely in and out of the U.S. on H-2B visa
  • Change jobs if you can show a new job offer
Are there any travel restrictions on H-2B visa?

There are no travel restrictions on H-2B visa. You may travel as many times as required before the expiry of your H-2B status. The USCIS also does not impose any time limit on your stay abroad.

K1 has nothing to do with your situation.

Boat or Plane come to mind.

You can marry her in California.

Boiler was telling you her Visa has no travel restrictions. So marry her wherever you want then file to adjust her status.

You do not need the K1 she is already in the US.

So get her to California if that is where you want to marry.

Then start the process to adjust her status.

There were H2b visas that you could only work with on Guam. I doubt they had travel restrictions I think most likely she can simply board a plane and fly to the mainland. By the way these "only work on Guam" H2b visas are not issued anymore.

There are direct flights.

Most flights tend to stop off in Hawaii but I'm sure there are some direct ones. Her visa allows her to travel. She doesn't need anyone's permission. She can fly all over the USA. Honestly, it's okay!!

Guam is part of the USA.

Then have her fly on United via Hawaii to the mainland. That way she doesn't even go through immigration.

There are no direct flights from Guam to the US mainland, but the Hawaii stop is just fine.

Well my husband always had to redo security and sometimes customs in Hawaii. I wouldnt say its always pain free. He always flew continental aka united the entire flight as well.

To be clear, she can leave and reenter the US if she wants, so she could take any flight she chooses (either via Hawaii or via Japan) but if she wants to avoid going through immigration on her way to the US mainland, she should choose the United flight via Hawaii.
