If that is that they mentioned in the 22g then I think you should be set after you have the results.

##Tracking question 221 g

On the ceac website it shows still in admin processing with a status update on the 16th. On the cgi federal site it did show that our passport was with the embassy until today and now it shows nothing there for the passport.

Is this a good sign or a bad one?

Did you receive your Visa yet? Still nothing here.

Does anyone know of a USA number for the embassy for this? The number I have been calling does not accept calls for immigrant visas..only non immigrant.

##Still not sure why our passport is not showing here any longer:

Yes, I have the visa now. It was ready for pickup last Wed (23Mar).

Keep checking, try to check status around 5pm Philippine time of every working day.

I just called and spoke to a very nice guy who said to check the status online which we have been doing about every 30 minutes. lol He said our status will no longer appear on the cgifederal site and to check the ceac site only.

I get the feeling they really do not want people calling to check the status of the CR1 visa and there is really nothing to be done but wait. We submitted our petition in November and it is now almost April so I have just about had it with waiting. :/ I know many are going through the same thing but it is frustrating. I really want to know if our papers are ok.

Hey all,

I see a status update today that says "READY" in blue letters! This sounds good to me but underneath it says this:

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have received interview scheduling instructions.

Please take the medical exam at St. Luke’s Extension Clinic in Manila at least one week before your interview. You are encouraged to register online at the St. Luke’s website: www.slec.ph prior to your medical exam. The medical exam may take more than one day to complete.

For K Visas (K1/K2/K3/K4): You may visit this website: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph or contact the Embassy’s Visa Information and Appointment Service at (632) 982-5555 or (632) 902-8930 to schedule a visa interview appointment. The Visa Information and Appointment Service is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on Philippine and U.S. holidays. Callers in the USA may contact the Appointment Service at (214) 571-1600 between 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

Please note that K nonimmigrant visa applicants must pay the visa application fee of $240 before they can request a visa appointment via the online appointment website or the Embassy’s Visa Call Center.

What gives?

Next status should be AP then issued or it could go to Issued right away.

Mine is AP-READY-ISSUED.

Some can go AP-READY-AP-ISSUED

Dont read what it says, it will confuse you. It only means AP is taken out already. Like ready to issue visa.

Congratulations!

We are picking up right in Manila so I heard 1 to 2 days. I would love to do it this week.

I am tripping out on this! I have checked that status site so many times than when it said ready it did not register in my brain right away.. I was seeing the word ready with my eyes but my mind was saying nope, just ap again. Then it hit me.. Holy #### Ready!! I refresh the page 5 minutes later and Issued!

Thanks to everyone here that helped out.

Here are a few notes that may help people that have direct filed in Manila.

#1 - Affidavits help. Have them signed, dated and include a copy of their drivers license or id. This serves as pretty good evidence that the person in the affidavit actually wrote it.

#2 - If you are in doubt on whether or not to fill out I864A then do it. If they do not need it they just will not keep it when your at the interview. If they need it you will have it. If you are using a co sponsor and living with them and they are filing taxes jointly you may need an I864A from both people. We did.

#3 - If you have been in the Philippines long enough to file direct at the embassy(Over 6 months) then you are going to have to prove you still have residence in the USA. I did this with affidavits, letters and bills to my address and my car registration.

Oh well, it has been a long road for us. We filed our petition in November. if you use Google be sure to check your trash and spam box. All the emails I ever got from the embassy always went into the inbox but the one with our case number went into the spam folder and never synced onto my phone. When I called numerous times they never told me that we were all set or gave me a case number until the last time someone finally told me your case number has been sent already. I had him resend to another address and I got it that day. Keep an eye out for that because we wasted over a month on that..

See you in the USA!!!!
