How long does it take to be scheduled an interview after denial?

I found out that my petition was denied three months ago when I went to local USCIS center today to get another one year extension.

I have been checking status site and it's always said

"we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received..."

Long story short, I called USCIS customer service and got to talked to an immigration officer. He requested California center to send me the denial letter and also said that why I didn't show up for the interview he sees no show in the system. I didn't receive any notice about it. I wish I could go to the interview. I would have gone of course if I had knew.

I would like to know when receiving a denial letter, how long it take to get to an interview and approved, and if I can get an extension for a year or whatever otherwise I apparently have no legal status.

I have to go back to my country soon for family matter which is very important.

I assume an interview would not happen very soon...but at least I want some kind of good status that I can leave the US and be able to come back before interview.

I did. Evidence I sent initially were

Copy of

both driver's licenses

joint bank statement,

all the utilities bills which have both name on,

Car insurance both name on it,

copy of my credit card

my tax return

the rental house we live on is only his name because he moved in before I came here with fiancé visa.

we have no mortgage, loan, life or health insurance, we don't own property, or children.

The reason is we can afford any of that.

I was requested to send lease joint tenancy of assets, joint mortgage agreement or tax return (my husband didn't file tax for 2014), joint policies of life, medical, and home insurance. I couldn't send those above but I send utilities bills, letter from two friends and joint bank account statement.

This happened 3 month ago, it's too late to re-file a new I-751. You might be on deportation procedures now. I say to consult an immigration lawyer, unless someone else here can help.

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

azzein, do you know how long does it normally take interview is schedule after denial when having an attorney?

They said they never sent out the denial letter, so it is not my fault. When I called earlier today am immigration officer said I just have to wait. He told me he wouldn't know when the denial letter would be sent. But when I called USCIS second time the office I talked about earlier told me he sent a request. It is hard how much I should trust officials. I maybe deported in the result of this. but

I just want to know how long usually it takes to get an get an interview scheduled??

If deportation has to happen it does, it is hard for me to build trust in officials now. So I guess it could happen.

but worrying about it won't help me now...even if I have to go back to my country it probably won't happen in time when I need to be home.

Thank you azzein

Thanks. I am. I talked to my attorney friend to find me a good immigration attorney. I am going to meet tomorrow.

The second time I called immigration officer did what the office I called earlier today did for me, so I was glad.

He told me I don't have to worry and didn't mention about three months. I should have asked why the letter was never sent.

A case can be left behind and not being noticed by anyone until petitioner claim?

I wonder my interview letter was ever sent out. If they can't prove that how they can say I am deported.

Thank you Happy Chic.

He said that they already sent him an RFE before, so they do have his correct address on file.

Really sorry to hear about your situation. Get a good lawyer please, it's ridiculous they refuse to update your status and send notices to people and then have the nerve to reject you.
