I apologize in advance if this information exists somewhere on the site but I haven't seen it. I'm planning to visit my fiance's country and it's very likely that his K1 visa will be granted before I need to return so we may be coming back together...which is great! However, I'm just interested to hear what the process looks like when you (the US citizen) gets off the plane with your (foreign) fiance who has a K1 fiance visa. His English is not great and I'm wondering if we are going to be separated into different queues where he will have to go through the process alone. Are you allowed to accompany your foreign fiance through this process or will I be directed to the queue for US citizens while he has to navigate the queue with his limited English?

Depending on the POE you two will directed to whatever is the shortest line. Any of the CBP officers can process the K1 paperwork.

In our case we were sent to the US citizen line, the CBP officer had petitioned her spouse through a K1, she did the paperwork and wished us well.
