At JFK...what a crappy airport ...can't believe this is the first world!!! Got a body search as the steel rod in my shoulder set off the alarm...

Lol. What a trip.

Poor wifi here, no recharging places...jeez. Getting drunk by myself at the bar-no other customers...

Last time I was at my local airport all the wifi required purchasing it. Airports in the USA are notorious for wanting to squeeze every last penny out of you.

And you would think after a cavity search, they would at least buy you a drink afterwards :rofl:

Yeah, in America it's all about the money. In Japan it's about having pride in your technology and providing or for free.. You can recharge for free at the airport , and get unlimited wifi...so much more civilised...lol. Taxi doors open automatically, customer is king. Banzai, banzai, banzai...lol. Does have its bad points but seriously, JFK is a major airport, non???

Plus body search by fat lesbian infront of everyone was not appreciated...

At least my local airport has put in charging stations. Even at the place we had breakfast before our flight had charging stations at the tables.

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.
