If I was Fat Boy, I'd divorce her right now and never speak to her again!

maybe you should divorce Tiff, steal fat boy's wife from him and marry her, just so you can divorce her?

Saga of the brother in law and his troublesome wife.

A couple years ago we got Mama to finally retire and quit working all her odd jobs she did. They were really hard on her and took a toll on her health. I had to tell my wife and sister in law to let her keep the sari sari store, because it was hardly any work, easy and let her feel she contributes something.

Well the other day the brother in law's wife comes over to mama's place and asks her to start cooking this tradition desert eaten during the holy week. I guess she wanted to open a stand and sell them. Oh and they wanted mama to buy the ingredients to make it too. Money shared back to mama was going to be nothing. I guess mama has finally gotten tired of this type of carp from her and all her other little selfish games. She told her absolutely not. And then went on to say her children asked her to retire for her health, to take it easy and enjoy life now. If she wanted to sell something like this, she needs to learn to make it herself and buy the supplies herself.

I'm glad to see mama has finally caught on to leaching this woman practices. There is no reason in the world she couldn't learn to do this herself if she wants to make some money off of it. But she's just plain lazy. She doesn't cook, she doesn't clean, she doesn't take care of the kids, yet she stays home and calls herself a housewife, while the husband has to pay for a maid to do all that for her.

Btw, if you live in HK or Singapore, and you don't have a maid, people laugh at you. So, even if it's a broom closet, they stick a toilet in it and call it a maids quarters. And they hire foreigners from SE Asia or Sri Lanka...and treat them like .

What does her husband do?

Maid?

He's a seaman. Spends most of the year on ship. Comes back until his money runs out. Like he's been back since the end of November and is just getting ready to go get a new contract aboard a ship.

I need a maid. My basement is looking for an occupant, it is only wet some of the year. That should be fine, right? Actually it seems to be staying pretty dry this year, so where can I order one of these maids from?

They call the maids yayas in the Philippines. You can get one for 2000 pesos a month, which is about $50, they work 6 days a week. They live in, do pretty much everything including caring for the kids. Technically a yaya just cares for the kids, but its typical they're the maid too. I'm sure some of them are treated like carp too. For many they take in a teenage relative as the yaya. Often where that part of the family is very poor and can hardly afford to feed the kid or send them to school. So the family that hires them makes sure they get an education and regular meals, plus it eases the financial stress on the poor relatives with one less mouth to feed.

The Philippines are loaded with them, but you're going to need to pay a good wage to them in the USA. The government here doesn't allow next to slave labor here. It comes up pretty regular were some foreign well to do family in the USA has a Filipino maid they've been keep as basically a slave in the USA.

The issue has been ongoing for many countries.

Indonesia banned their citizens from going to Saudi Arabia because they were so poorly treated.

Singapore and HK has work visa for these domestic servants. And a regulated industry. With contracts.

But once in awhile you still hear of a nightmare story.

A lot of Filipinas used to do this. But not anymore.

Indonesia and Sri Lanka are the primary countries of origins now.

There's still a ton of Filipinas that leave the country as domestic helpers. Its an ingrained part of their culture now and the government even encourages it because they send back money.

I dunno what their destination is tough.

I think they're just marrying Chinamen....

Because it's difficult in China for a Chinaman to find a broad.

The China broads are very wise and realistic. They want cash, cars, house, green card, etc...no money no talk...

How did Fat boy's wife lose the I-ManyManyMany for their interview?

She LOST the I-ManyManyMany, are you kidding man?!

When my wife gets done with it there's one completed pile which includes junk mail.

When company or Mama T-B. is coming over, Mrs. T-B. takes her arm and sweeps everything into a box. Nearly every time, we feel highly compelled to call the Rojo ourselves to ask him to take her permanently, oj grrrrrrrrrrr.
