my mother had some life insurance policy I didn't know about when she died. Not a lot of money, I think 4k split with my brother, I think she likely bought it off some TV show. Surprised the heck out of me when they chased me down to let me know we had something coming.

DIA is closed. Hopefully the snow stops today/tonight and the kiddo can visit tomorrow.

Up to my thighs (so almost 3 ft) in front of my house. People stuck everywhere. I took one person home and others asked for rides but I had a 1/4 tank of gas. Don't think hubs is coming home.

Hope so. It's supposed to stop around 7pm and then be clear. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, about 60.

Hubs made it home. Took a GOV which was okay'd by the District manager. (the person that said DIA was closed.)

Do people not look before crossing the street? I get it is New York and you sometimes have to be assertive to get cars to stop, but you still should be prudent.
