Kiddo is here Thursday. She turns 13 tomorrow. Had her birthday party this weekend.

Made italian sausage, spicy red pepper, garlic sauce and rotini for supper. Hubs didn't like the italian sausage. Said something tasted like licorice. Now the only italian spice I know that tastes anything like licorice is fennel. So that means italian sausage for the most part is out. Funny part is, I used it in the stuffed peppers but because it was so little (1/4 lb) and mixed with the beef (1 lb) he didn't taste it at all! Said the stuffed peppers were fantastic. GO FIGURE!!!

I can't taste any of it especially now with a cold, but I also happen to like black licorice.

That is odd that he doesn't like fennel but likes black licorice. Hubs hates it. I can't make anything in the USA with italian seasoning. He didn't have this issue in Canada and I made everything up there with it. Maybe I use too much? I can't smell very well for a lot of things so I need strong tastes....

I'd like to keep him his svelte 10lbs. :) He get the fishy Iams purrfect delights stuff. $9.99 plus employee discount at Target.

Send cat outside to hunt field mice for food....

Our cat is not going outside. NOPE. I think the squirrels would beat him up. LOL

He was terrified the one time he got out by himself. He's been on a leash outside (humorous picture of hubs walking cat not being inserted here because he would kill me) but he looks scared as heck. He eventually bolts towards the safety of indoors. LOL

On the bonus side, he doesn't have issues that indoor/outdoor cats do. Doesn't need regular flea stuff!

And worms are pretty much non-existent too!
