Yes we continued on to the Zoo, and we had a blast. I have pictures to load to the computer.

I got to touch stingrays and sharks it was amazing! The Tornado loved i, the Jedi didn't want to touch them.

We need to get the truck looked at to make sure the frame didn't get any damage. Since we were in a truck and the guy behind us in a car they kind of got the hitch into the front of their car. He got creamed by the CRV pretty sure that car will be written off.

He was to worried about the kids and I.

All I know right now is that the girls insurance will be paying through their nose for 2 car seats. It's not easy finding 2 seats that I can get right next to each other and one needs to stay rear facing.

You have many options.

1-If you have full coverage. You can claim it with your own company. They pay everything, then will recover the deductible from the car that rear ended you. And send that check to you too. But that'll take months.

2- you can claim from the guy that rear ended you, they pay for everything, then that insurance company will recover their loss from the girl's insurance company. This is your best option. Get it from the car that actually hit you. Let them sort it out later with the initial car.

3- file claim with the girls insurance, but they'll dilly dally around a bit sorting it out. Then pay you, eventually.

4- you shoulda opened the window, climb out onto the windshield, lay across the hood, start screaming "ow ma back...." and tell the cops that you were ejected and thrown 50 feet, bounced off another car and back on your hood....

And maybe tell hillbilly to give you a black eye and nose bleed and sue your car maker for faulty airbag not deploying...

And sue the zoo for not having adequate traffic control on their property.

And sue Memphis for having a zoo...

And sue the zoo some more for being in Memphis, knowing that people in Memphis suck at driving...

The kids are fine. The Tornado was shaken up a bit because she didn't know what was going on. The Jedi is still rear facing so he didn't really notice anything.

Once I got the Tornado out she calmed down.

You know I just readjusted her freak-en car seat! That seat was a nightmare to install! Well not really but it's because the tether strap doesn't come off easy and we have the two seats side by side.

I know I need a new mouse it's just a pain to get another for them to toss it too I need a cordless one so it can go flying around the room more often.

My keyboard is good. I've washed it out about 3 or 4 times now and it works like a charm.

So today we went to the Memphis Zoo. We got to the the street to turn on to get to the parking lot. And Bang!!! We got hit! We were rear ended and the car that hit us was rear ended and pushed into us. The girl driving that was at fault was doing 35. She says the guy behind us slammed on his breaks out of no where. (she wasn't paying attention to the road). We were stopped behind another car, who just happened to go before the wreck. We were still waiting for oncoming traffic to go by to turn left to get to the zoo. The guy behind us was actually stopped when he got hit. (He saw it coming, we didn't )

Everyone is ok, I'm sore from the seat belt but that is it. But now I need to replace two carseats as the manufacture says replace after any type of crash.

Get the truck checked out asap at a collision place with the intention of getting it fixed. I agree with steve to make the claim to the guy that hit you, then they claim it to the person who hit them. I told someone once who rear ended someone vs getting squished that it's better to get squished than to rear end. At least then you can claim it on someone else! You stopped, and they didn't.
