So my husband has gone away for the weekend for firefighter training. Lucky him. I'd love a weekend away. :sleepy:

Do you pump so maybe you can get even a night away?

I used to, but he won't take any bottles anymore. I can't even get a 4-5 hour stretch away at the moment. He's 10 months, so I'm hoping at some point he'll figure out the sippy cup and maybe by summer if he is drinking regular milk or water, we can at least have the grandparents babysit or something.

I think the Jedi has potty trained himself. All week he has been asking to use the potty and he actually goes. (L):luv:

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Elbow was rotten upon wake-up and worsened throughout the day, ow man.

We somehow fulfilled the last-minute POTS orders (making quota) through the elbow mess, ow man.

By miracle, we managed to undo button-down collar with one hand, brilliant fashion choice man.

Elbow is swollen to the size of a beach ball or beached whale, good grief man.

Ice very, very temporarily kills the pain, need to immerse in Antarctic snow man.

If Heap Strong Medicine fails overnight, shaving will be impossible, rugged look man.

We hope nevertheless to fulfill the ambitious GS itinerary on Saturday, whee man.

We think that the elbow-hosing was from lifting Mrs. T-B.'s suitcases into/from the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile's trunk, ouch man.

Oh man Nola that sucks. I hope he didn't stay up to much longer after your post.

Well the Jedi slept in till 6:30 how glorious that was. He wakes up starts chattering away then starts up that he needs to potty! :luv:

I'm thinking oh great he has mastered I need to potty so he can get out of bed! :devil:

So we get out of bed, not only did he potty he stayed dry all night! :wow:

So my start to the day started pretty good!
