06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Final Day #2 of Solo-Supervising Mini-B. Report, see man:

Rained like an illegitimate male child ALL night, build an Ark man.

Mini-B. awoke in grand mood, jovial wee man.

Mini-B. thrilled to eat leftover Spaghettios + Meatballs for breakfast, bachelor stuff man.

Mrs. T-B. phoned from Nueva York, she man.

She now has her degree from the infernal Many'rd- or Many'th-World university, finally man.

After dropping Mini-B. at preskool, we went to Costco, nearly deserted man.

Lost $Many in chiefly stock-up purchases, bye man.

Bought a large pepperoni pizza, lunch/dinner/snack man.

After returning Costco stuff to casa, ventured forth again, intrepid man.

Got a 2x2x2+2+2-pack of A/C filters (MERV 2x2x2+2) for only $Many, steal man.

Returned to casa in time for a nap of <1 hour, needed zzz man.

Retrieved Mini-B. from preskool on time, we get wee man.

Took Mini-B. to Baskin-Robbins, bachelor pig-out man.

Took Mini-B. to Petco, view the critters wee man.

Mini-B. delighted by little mice in their wheels, wee glee man.

At casa, informed Mini-B. of Necessary Step #1 = a nap, we and wee zzz man.

Mini-B. objected but acquiesced, we and wee and miu zzz for ~1 hour man.

Informed Mini-B. of Necessary Step #2 = eat pizza for dinner, we and wee ingest man.

Mini-B. had no objection to this essential bachelor activity, no man.

Informed Mini-B. of Necessary Step #Many = take a bath, we inflict on wee man.

Mini-B. objected mightily but acquiesced, we bathe wee man.

Informed Mini-B. of Necessary Step #Many = put on clean clothes, pre-Mama-T-B. she man.

Mini-B. objected to wardrobe choices, too much observation of Mommy man.

Dropped Mini-B. at Mama T-B.'s casa, recipe for spoilage man.

Reached airport shortly before flight inbounded, timing man.

Retrieved Mrs. T-B. ejmacayted and exhausted she man.

Mrs. T-B. stayed with amiga in Ridgewood (Queens), better than Corona man.

Mrs. T-B. got hit on by baggage-checker at LaGuardia Airport, why'd she say NO man.*

*yes = we call the rubias, glee we man

Mrs. T-B. dislikes everything about Ciudad de Nueva York, Texas Many man.

The traffic, the chaos, the rudeness, the lousy airport, partial list man.

Not her first visit or first such observation, Texas Many man.

Thesis committee tried to yank Mrs. T-B.'s chain again, Many'rd-World university man.

Mrs. T-B. re-placed all monkeys on the proper backs, vertebrate she man.

Returned Mrs. T-B. to Mama T-B.'s casa, repatriate she man.

Mini-B. overjoyed to see Mommy, bachelor experience over man.

Everyone exhausted, up too late man.

Mrs. T-B., Mini-B., & cat sound asleep, she and wee and miu zzz man.
