Well if its not in the NYPD DEPARTMENT MANUAL, then it never happened. Just like it says not to use choke holds.

"Tactics" is not a part of the patrol guide.

In the state of NY, there is in fact, no law forbidding the use of choke holds to restrain and control a subject. The violation is against nypd policy. Not against any law, city, or state.

Eric garner was a half a French fry away from a heart attack.

Yep he likely was. So are many others that have died when they were hit with a taser.

Where do they learn "Better judged by 12 than carried by 6"?

That's just a saying, like a good cop is never child wet or hungry.

But you know what, often they're cold wet and hungry.

I hate to be redundant, but you believe what you want to believe, you buy into this ####### that the media puts out.

Why don't you guys not call a cop next time you need them. Because they might shoot you.

You honestly think that a cop starts his shift looking to beat up someone? Or shoot someone?

You tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about, but you fail to gauge your opposition.

Your qualification is "your friends".

Well, my qualifications are my education, my profession, and my 2 decade long experience.

Would you like for me to speak of my qualifications in forensics and counter-terrorism now?

in the Garner case, you can't prosecute a cop in the NY state supreme court for violating nypd departmental policy.

That's why he was acquitted. It was simple law.

When the law is on your side, you argue the law.

And the law is, there's no law against using a choke hold. The end.

Cleaned the bbq today. Hasnt been done since I moved. I gave it to hubs as an anniversary present and hes never looked aftet it. If his pork chops didnt taste so good Id ban him from using it. (He overcooks steaks... every... friggin... time.)
