Basially people that I considered "friends" are nothing more than acquaintances due to circumstances, and I've made the right decision to not call them "friends."

So 3 cheers for me!

Ok that's better...

And, yeah, if I were you, I'd tell Tarklar to go himself too...

It was a rant.

so is this:

I've had my phone for 2 days and it fell out of my back pocket getting out of the Jeep this morning to get my sunglasses and coffee and proceeded to shatter the back. At least it wasn't the front. It would cost me $180 to replace the phone at the low end and $700 to buy a new one. My husband doesn't believe in extended warranties or the like... and proceeds to tell me this afternoon that if you can't take care of things you shouldn't have them. Like I could predict that the phone would FALL OUT OF MY POCKET?! There's a reason it's called a ###### ACCIDENT, because you cannot predict or ensure such a thing would happen. That's why we have life insurance, and car insurance, etc... so why not ###### phone insurance?! I have a case coming on friday. The phone will stay at home until then. Thankfully it was just the back (which, FYI, on an S7 is GLASS)."

I cracked the backglass on my iphone a few months ago. I'm usually so careful, but it fell out of my hand and onto a concrete floor. I put some tape on it and a cover and no one will be the wiser. I carry insurance on it and did on my husband's, but he used up the two replacements pretty quickly.

This time around he is getting an iphone with an otterbox that is like a tank around it.

There IS such a thing as phone insurance. I have it.

Here, there's also a thousand stores that do such repair for fiddy bucks.

Look around.

I have an otter box on my phone too.

why did you tell him about it? You must have known the response he would give?

Our six year old typed this out this afternoon. No copy/paste. No spell check. He just sat down and banged it out. Despite what he's been doing I was stunned. He doesn't even do school now, all he does is piano. But I looked in his drawing book and it is filled with math and chemistry. At the moment he is playing a piece in Ab loaded with minors, 7ths and 9ths. For me, one bad thing after another. I can't even walk right now and need hip surgery.

Too bad. When's your operation? Hip replacements are difficult . Hope you are booked in for a good hospital .

Must be hard to have kids late in life and then try and keep up with them.

Internet friends are only occasionally friends. If I had a friend being called names on the internet unfairly, and was internet friends with the other friend. I would decide who I was the better friend with and de-friend the other. But my internet friends are apparently NOT as good of friends as I am, so they did not do this.

#### them.

That's all for now.

"Friend" is such a strong word.

I have tons of colleagues, but only a few friends.

Tho still you can't have colleagues on facebook, but friends only. Dunno if that is to make us feel better, or something? :P
