Not that I'd want to speak on behalf of them, but I think Canada would be interested in annexing Wisconsin too, if America was offering.

Maine, Washington, Oregon, Vermont, Minnesota, and Wisconsin... I think they'd go, if given a vote.

I can't blame anyone for wanting to pay more taxes for free health care though.

BUT you still pay for things, like dental care, prescriptions, specialists that are non essential like fertility experts and psychologists, PT, etc.. You wait in line to see a specialist forever and a day. My old city didn't even have a dermatologist. You had to get a referral, (everything is referral) wait a few months for an appointment, and then drive 2 hours to see someone. If you want your ambulance ride paid for then you better have extra insurance. Otherwise that could be anywhere from $50-$1000 depending on the province.

There was no way in heck I'd be going to an ENT same day. But then I could go to the emergency room, wait there for 5 hours, and finally be seen because I wasn't dying. And it would have been free except for my time spent. More paid holidays was always nice too.

But hey, if have cancer then you're looked after. You're not patching up a broken arm with a splint to avoid the dr costs.

I guess you pay for convenience here.

The nanny took her out Tuesday.

Wednesday I was by the door, and the nanny walked out with her for a few seconds, it was cold. She could have caught a chill.....
