It's actually spectacular. Very deep purple color. Berry flavor. One of the best merlots I ever had.

I remember why I bought it now.

A year ago? I found a 06 Kendall Jackson on my wine rack, and opened it, because it was the only merlot in there. And I was like, wow!

So I went out looking for another one. But the only one I found was a 2010.

And it continues to impress. It's not expensive. Maybe 15 bucks?

Next time I buy 2, open one, drink it, if it's good, store the other one...

Now I truly only have good left.

Oh and I found a bottle of XO. (Remy).

Louisiana's state motto should be, "hey, at least we're not Texas".

But they are still ###### Louisiana. The swamp could swallow that state back up and no one would notice.

My complaints for the week:

1. Still no physical NOA, although we received our biometrics letter today which dashes my fears of them somehow having the wrong address. Wish NOA would get here, though.

2. I have a whole other year left before graduating from college and I just can't DEAL with it anymore. If I have to write another goddamn paper I'm going to snap.

3. Hubby doesn't get paid from his new job for another week and I'm feeling pretty broke.

SIGH.

I'm never going to be done with school, never! I am sick of it.
