A few years ago, my buddy and I were stationed in Texas at Fort Hood, and his 60-year-old grandma came down from Michigan to visit us one day. First words out of her mouth, I #### you not, was "What's with all the gay people down here?"

Pretty sure it was more than a few years ago if the grandma was only 60. Just sayin!

My complaints for the week:

1. Still no physical NOA, although we received our biometrics letter today which dashes my fears of them somehow having the wrong address. Wish NOA would get here, though.

2. I have a whole other year left before graduating from college and I just can't DEAL with it anymore. If I have to write another goddamn paper I'm going to snap.

3. Hubby doesn't get paid from his new job for another week and I'm feeling pretty broke.

SIGH.

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.
