***** Moving from Philippines forum as not country specific to Finding Work forum ****

Apply online when you can; some very entry level jobs (such as fats food) may have open interviews once a week where you just walk in with your resume.

Yeah, really depends on the circumstances. Most larger companies will post open opportunities on line and you apply online.

Some post needs on the doors to brick and mortar stores.

There are numerous job posting sites (Craig's List, etc, newspapers, etc. that you can research. In this market shot gunning resumes to businesses has little opportunity for success. Not saying it doesn't happen.

Good luck.

You will need to tailor your resumé to each job you apply for. Read the job description. There will be several key things they are looking for. You need to make sure those same key things appear in your resumé as well. If you don't have at least some of the key words, the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) will simply reject your resumé and it will never see a live human. You will discover over sending several hundred applications, how to correctly identify and insert the key words into your resumé as you start getting recruiting calls versus no response.

Thank you for this! :)
